Access to Online Meeting Hub

ACCESSING THE ONLINE MEETING HUB

  • The Online Meeting Hub is where you will engage CIES 2023 on February 14-15 and 18-22. Your CIES member ID or CIES Guest ID should give you access to this system (more on this below). The Hub will be open by February 1 at https://cies.lasaweb.org
  • The CIES 2023 Official Website is the central website since its launch on June 15, 2022 with information about the annual meeting. It has links to Membership, Registration (and Partner Registration), All Academic, and the the Online Meeting Hub.
  • All Academic is where you submit your proposal, and if you review submissions you do this here also. Your CIES member ID or CIES Guest ID should give you access to this system. This where you can also create your personalized conference schedule for the synchronous sessions.
  • The CIES Membership website is where you join CIES or renew your membership. Newcomer attendees – you can join anytime; membership is for CIES calendar year. But for attending CIES 2023 with a role, such as presenter, chair, or discussant whose names are included in the Meeting Program, you must sign up or renew your CIES membership by January 3, 2023. Failure to have a 2023 CIES membership AND to register by January 3 will result in your removal from the Program.
  • Registration sites:
    • The Meeting Registration site is where you registered for the conference. CIES members should have used the same login credentials for membership and the registration sites. Nonmembers also registered here.
    • The Partners Registration site is where Partners – sponsors, exhibitors, advertisers, and institutions having receptions and/or offering career recruiting – register. 

 

ACCESSING ONLINE SESSIONS

CIES 2023 experiments another approach for an onsite meeting with online components, i.e., two online Days and five on-site days with a two-day break in the between.

Those registered to attend the five on-site days of CIES 2023 in Washington, D.C. will have access to all onsite and online sessions on February 14-15 and 18-22.

Those registered to attend the two online days of CIES 2023 will have access only to those sessions in the Online Meeting Hub that are scheduled on February 14-15, in addition to all livestreamed sessions (which include the Presidential Address, Kneller Lecture, other Presidential Plenary/Keynote sessions, the State of Society Meeting, etc.), which are scheduled Feb. 18-22.
