In-Person

All in-person attendees in Minneapolis will also have access to the all the virtual components of the program.   In addition,  onsite programming will include concurrent sessions, plenary sessions, the film festivalette and the conference reception at the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts.  

Conference spaces and session rooms will have Wi-Fi with high-speed bandwidth and will be fully accessible throughout the convention center and all meeting and common spaces at the headquarter hotels.  In addition, conference session rooms will be set up with Wi-Fi, a laptop with audio, and a projection screen for in-person attendees. 

Morning Meetings scheduled from 8:00-9:15 am Tuesday through Friday will offer a light, continental style breakfast. 

Conference Highlights include a Tuesday evening performance at the Hyatt by VocalEssence to celebrate the power of song and community, and a Wednesday evening collaboration with the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) for an intimate evening to explore three wings of their famous art collection.  For more information on these and other conference highlights, go to cies2022.org/conference-highlights/. 

The CIES 2022 Raffle, with a total of 12 raffle drawings, will occur during the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday and at the State of the Society Meeting on Thursday.  Raffle tickets, earned as part of your conference registration, will be handed out with your name badge at the Hyatt.
